  • A percentage of all proceeds of Hungry Hill will go to support Wide Horizons For Children. Their efforts bring hope and security to the world’s most vulnerable children being impacted by the global hunger crisis. My history with Wide Horizons For Children goes back over twenty years, when I worked with them to bring my son home from the Republican Children’s Home in Chisineau, Moldova. They are an amazing organization on every level, and are devoted to helping children in need all over the globe. In particular, I support their efforts to feed starving children in Ethiopia, where unrest and conflict has led to an escalating humanitarian crisis. Learn more.

  • Hungry Hill wins a Distinguished Favorite NYC Big Book Award 2021 in the Contemporary Fiction category! The NYC Big Book Award received book submissions worldwide, and 2021 was a record year for books awarded due to the high level of quality and diverse books submitted. “We are elated to highlight these authors’ books, recognize their excellence, and share their achievements,” said awards sponsor Gabrielle Olczak. “We look forward to showcasing these titles to a larger audience.”
